Pismo's Coastal Grill

Being from the Central Coast I can attest to the fact that Pismo's Grill is very authentic! Delicious, fresh and full of flavor! Their generous portions and mouth watering sides did not go un-noticed! Fantastic cocktails as well! My server was helpful and really friendly. I will ABSOLUTELY be back for more!

Food was delicious...had reservations & still a10+ minute wait. Service slow..pleasant.I understand why a new facility will be opening. The crowds tell the story. Good food but come & be patient & enjoy the time with friends.

This place is great. Top notch. We were visiting Fresno for a show, and came here to eat. There was an hour and a half wait, but we really wanted to try it, so we waited. Well worth the wait. Everything we tried was so good. Chowder, stuffed bread, snapper bites, crab cakes, udon noodles, wedge salad, and shrimp pasta. All great. Quality ingredients, prepared perfectly, and presented well. A very large menu, so it was hard to choose what to try. Now we want to go back and try the other stuff on the menu. The staff was great, very friendly. I was impressed at how efficient everything was and how good the quality was considering how packed the place was. From the outside it looked chaotic, but it was very well run. A great experience that I highly recommend, and I will be coming back again. Just make a reservation if you can.

We received a very warm welcome from Grace and two other hostesses. Genuine smiles and waves :) We mentioned my fiance and I were celebrating our anniversary as she seated us. It was his first time at Pismo's and only my second. Our server Alyssa made our experience wonderful! She was polite, attentive and overall absolutely excellent! Of course the food was fantastic. The clam chowder was to die for. His Beach Burger was also a hit! The customer service was certainly the icing on the cake. Our amazing server surprised us with a complimentary dessert with a candle. She and Grace made our visit so special and memorable. I can't wait for our next visit. EVERYTHING about this experience was pure perfection. A huge thank you to the hard working staff that made our day!

We went to Pismo's Coastal Grill last Sunday after a long day of shopping. The wait was about 30 minutes and it was packed. It was well worth the extra time to have such a delightful meal. We started off with the sourdough bread appetizer and I had the pistachio crusted calamari and a wedge salad. The tartar sauce is tangy and amazing. The fish and chips that my mom had were just like if we had been on the central coast. Overall, it was a fabulous meal and the service was excellent and fast.

Our first time and we loved it! My wife and I went for our anniversary on a Sunday night and were seated immediately. We made a reservation for 6pm. Wife ordered the Dungeness crab and I ordered the lobster tail. Both were amazing and so good! The scalloped potatoes topped with bacon were also delicious. Our server GINA was so wonderful and made our first time and special occasion so memorable. Thank you Gina!! We cant wait to come back. Food was worth every penny!

This was a first time for us, the waitress was great! She kept coming back to check on us randomly. The food was fantastic & actually came out quicker than expected.

Four of us---all first time...very impressed...Very good all the way around! Made reservations so no waiting involved. Kind and quick staff. Absolutely delicious food. Swordfish, brussel sprouts, shrimp, steak, crab all so yummy!! Pretty pricey but worth it😁. Would definitely go back.

The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. The seating arrangement is very very open, feels like cafeteria dining. I did not care for the arrangement The staff was very nice. The crabcakes were amazing! The sauce on too was incredible. I ordered fish and chips, I didn't care for the breading, i expected more flavor for the price. They portions we're huge though. The French fries were nice and thinly cut. The price for the fish and chips meals is a bit expensive. I've had cheaper more flavorful fish and chips on the coast. I do look forward to trying other menu items though.
